We're not even halfway through the Premier League season but it's already been a rollercoaster ride for Manchester City this term. City have been 'back' and then written off plenty of times already, but they're still fighting on all fronts heading into 2026.
Seven wins in a row have seen them cut the gap to leaders Arsenal at the top of the table, with the Gunners now just two points ahead of the Blues. Pep Guardiola's side are also well-placed in the Champions League following their 2-1 win over Real Madrid and a two-legged semi-final against Newcastle awaits in the Carabao Cup.
City were unusually busy in the previous January transfer window and we won't see anything like the same level of activity in the upcoming window. However, that doesn't mean any new arrivals are totally out of the question with interest in Antoine Semenyo.
