Manchester City claimed a 3-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League to close the gap on leaders Arsenal
Manchester City closed the gap on leaders Arsenal thanks to their victory over Sunderland in the Premier League. City recorded a 3-0 win over the Black Cats at the Etihad Stadium as they capitalised on dropped points from Arsenal earlier in the day.
Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol gave City a two-goal lead in the first half as Pep Guardiola's side ran out comfortable winners against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon, with Phil Foden on the score sheet in the second half. Earlier in the day, Arsenal fell to only their second defeat of the season as they lost 2-1 away at Aston Villa.
Saturday's results leave City in second place and two points behind leaders Arsenal in the table with 15 matches played so far.
Here, the Manchester Evening News takes a look at City's upcoming run of Premier League fixtures compared to some of their title rivals.
