Manchester City may have secured a 3-2 win over Leeds United on Saturday afternoon, but the match wasn't without its drama.

Pep Guardiola's Cityzens took the lead in the opening minute of the match at the Etihad Stadium, as Phil Foden fired home from close range after receiving the ball from Matheus Nunes, who had burst down the right-hand flank. Josko Gvardiol then doubled the host's lead 25 minutes into the fixture, capitalising on a well-placed corner.

However, the game was tipped on its head after the break, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin slicing into City's lead four minutes into the second-half. Gvardiol then fouled the United striker in his own area midway through the second period of play to concede a penalty.

While Lukas Nmencha was initially denied by Gianluigi Donnarumma, he found the back of the net from the rebound to level matters. What ensued was a cagey 20 minutes of so, before Foden managed to bag his brace - and ultimately, the game - a minute into stoppage time.

As a result of their win, the Sky Blues surge to second in the Premier League standings, where they trail Mikel Arteta's Arsenal by just four points. However, with Chelsea set to face the Gunners on Sunday, the north London outfit could re-establish a seven-point lead on City, dependent on the result of the game.

A win for Chelsea, meanwhile, will see the Blues leapfrog City back into second-place to further complicate matters. All things considered, the MEN breaks down Manchester City's next six fixtures compared to Arsenal and Chelsea, as they look to close out the year at the top of the Premier League table...
