Manchester City may have secured a narrow victory against Leeds United, but they have suffered another injury blow after Erling Haaland was ruled out of the match
Manchester City midfielder Nico O'Reilly suffered an injury blow during Saturday's 1-0 victory over Leeds United at Elland Road. The City academy product, who has featured across multiple positions this season, went down clutching his ankle in the second half.
He was also heard telling City skipper Bernardo Silva "not good" before being withdrawn for Tijjani Reijnders. The setback represents a significant concern for City, even though Antoine Semenyo's strike in West Yorkshire moved them to within two points of Arsenal.
He is the latest key City player who could be facing a spell on the side-lines. Before the match at Elland Road, Erling Haaland was ruled out of the clash with an injury suffered in training.

It's currently unclear as to how long the Norwegian will be out for. However, Guardiola's post-match look of concern suggests it could be a while until the Premier League's top goalscorer this season is back.
Despite describing Haaland's knock as a "little injury" before the match, the Catalan looked a lot more gloomy later on. When asked how it felt to win without Haaland, Guardiola said: "I wish he'd come back," before responding "I don't know" when asked to provide a timeline on when he will be fit.

While he will be concerned about Haaland, Guardiola will also be devastated about potentially losing O'Reilly for a long time.
The Catalan recently praised the England international, saying: "He's played full back, played holding midfielder when Rodri was not there, now he's in his position. I know the pace he has.
"What a player. He has made an incredible step up and he has had a lot of minutes. But he deserves it."
O'Reilly's absence will have an impact in the title race, given his performances for City. He recently scored both goals in the Cityzens' recent 2-1 home victory over Newcastle United.
However, the Gunners will have to put that to the back of their minds ahead of the upcoming derby against Chelsea.
As a result of City's victory over Leeds, Mikel Arteta's side are only two points ahead. Defeat to the Blues would give City the opportunity to jump into first place, as a result of the game in hand they'll hold.
