Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola may have to do without his captain, Bernardo Silva, for the first time this season in the Premier League following an injury sustained in recent days.
The City skipper seemed to pick up a knock during the 2-2 stalemate with Tottenham and was absent from the midweek victory over Newcastle that secured the team's spot in the Carabao Cup final.
While the Blues can toast reaching a final, they're aware that there's an ever-decreasing room for mistakes in the Premier League after surrendering points in five of their last six matches since the new year began.

Silva, who has featured in the starting XI for the previous 16 Premier League fixtures, hasn't been completely ruled out of Sunday's encounter, though Guardiola appeared pessimistic when questioned about the midfielder following the Newcastle triumph.
"Could be okay are not the words. He is an incredible doubt," said Guardiola.
"He will try, I know him, he will try, but he is an incredible doubt. We'll see. Yesterday he said to me, I don't feel quite good, I want to try.

"It's a position that is less dangerous than a hamstring; it's another type of muscle, but we'll see."
In more positive news for the Manchester club, City should be able to rely on Nico Gonzalez and Rodri for the midfield following both players' appearances in the 3-1 victory over Newcastle.
Tijjani Reijnders delivered one of his finest displays of the campaign and will be competing for a starting berth in midfield alongside Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki.
Competition also exists in attack, with Omar Marmoush capitalizing on his starting opportunity to find the net twice, while Erling Haaland appeared sharp upon his introduction from the substitutes' bench.
Antoine Semenyo offers versatility across wide and central positions and has impressed since his arrival from Bournemouth.
Liverpool needs a win as much as City does; the Reds are sixth in the Premier League table, two points behind a resurgent Manchester United in fourth.
There are eight points seperating City in second and Liverpool in sixth.
