Manchester City can close the gap to Arsenal to three points in the Premier League title race with victory at the Etihad Stadium

The Blues are full of confidence after last weekend's 3-0 victory at Chelsea. Pep Guardiola's side capitalised on Mikel Arteta's team losing to Bournemouth as their hangover from the Carabao Cup final continued.
City are now just six points behind the Gunners, having played a game fewer. Should they win, the Blues will have all the momentum for the remaining six fixtures in the Premier League.

Guardiola is likely to have the same players available to him as last weekend. Ruben Dias has been ruled out with an injury.
As for Arsenal, they will be without Bukayo Saka and Mikel Merino. Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber are all doubts.

Arsenal predicted lineup
It's a game that has long been billed as a title decider, and the winner will be favourites to lift the Premier League trophy next month. Manchester City host Arsenal today as they look to do what very few thought possible and reel in their title rivals. City are six points behind the Gunners, but they have a game in hand. A victory today followed by a win over Burnley on Wednesday would see them overtake Mikel Arteta's side and top the table.
It was revealed on Friday that Ruben Dias would not be back in time for the mammoth clash at the Etihad, but Arsenal have far more potential injury issues than Guardiola's men. Talisman Bukayo Saka is definitely out, as confirmed by Arteta on Friday, as is Mikel Merino. Martin Odegaard, Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber are all doubts, while Arteta hopes to have Noni Madueke available after he picked up a knock.

City welcome Arsenal to the Etihad today in a huge game at the top of the Premier League table. City begin the day six points adrift of the Gunners but with a game in hand on the leaders. Should Pep Guardiola's side prevail and then win at Burnley on Wednesday night, they will be top of the Premier League table.
That will be a tough task against an Arsenal side who may have lost their last Premier League match against Bournemouth but have been difficult to beat this season. But beat them City did in the Carabao Cup final last month and the Blues will hope for a repeat this afternoon to pile the pressure on Mikel Arteta's side down the stretch.

Good afternoon and welcome along to a pivotal day in the Premier League title race. When the fixtures were released, we thought this game would decide who became champions but the importance now cannot be underestimated. If City win, they will be in pole position to lift the title next month. If Arsenal win, the momentum is back in their hands and it will be a tough task for Guardiola's men to pass them.
However, City are the ones on a high and they know they can beat Arsenal. That 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup final last month has rocked the Gunners having only won once since. City's experience of getting over the line could be pivotal. Expect a rollercoaster 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium today.
