It has been a hectic last few days for the Blues, who parted company with Enzo Maresca on New Year's Day following a breakdown in their relationship. Chelsea are on the search for a new permanent head coach, with interim boss Calum McFarlane taking charge of the visitors in Manchester today.
McFarlane took the pre-City press conference on Friday afternoon as he prepares for his first-ever professional match in football. Coming up against the great Pep Guardiola, the odds could hardly be stacked more against McFarlane, who is the Under-21s head coach at Chelsea.
The players will have only had two training sessions with McFarlane and his backroom staff by the time the first ball is kicked at the Etihad Stadium this evening. Bobby Vincent is live in Manchester throughout the day to bring you every kick right to your screen.
