Manchester United are back in Premier League action this weekend - after the international break.
United beat Burnley 3-2 in their last match and will now prepare to face Manchester City in the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon at the Etihad Stadium. Ruben Amorim's squad will know that three points against their cross-city rivals will not be an easy task - but there will still be confidence that they can get a positive result on the road.
There will need to be some major decisions made regarding the team selection for the trip to the Etihad Stadium. United will have one game a week for the first half of the season until the midweek Premier League fixtures return in December.
Until then, Amorim will have the luxury of being able to select a first-choice starting line-up once a week for the next three months. Against City, Amorim may be tempted to hand summer signing Benjamin Sesko a first start in the Premier League.
Sesko has made substitute appearances in the first three Premier League fixtures, while his only start has come in the Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby Town. Whether a start will come against City remains to be seen, but Amorim is not likely to wait too much longer to unleash his £74million signing from the start in a league fixture.
Starting Sesko will force Amorim to make at least one change to the team that beat Burnley. That could be Mason Mount dropping out if the former Chelsea man is still side-lined with an injury, and a decision will need to be made about whether or not Cunha is fit enough to feature.
Cunha, like Mount, picked up an injury during the win over Burnley and an update on the Brazilian's fitness will be expected later this week. In their dream scenario, Cunha has recovered from the injury and is available to start in a forward line alongside Sesko and Bryan Mbeumo.
Between the posts, Amorim may well be tempted to hand a debut to deadline day signing Senne Lammens, who arrived for an initial fee worth £18.2million from Royal Antwerp. Altay Bayindir has started all three Premier League matches so far this season, while Andre Onana could depart before the weekend arrives.
Manchester United dream line-up vs Man City (3-4-3): Lammens; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Amad, Fernandes, Mainoo, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Sesko, Cunha.
