Bryan Mbeumo, Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha were on the scoresheet at Arsenal to make it two wins from two for Michael Carrick as Manchester United interim head coach
Manchester United made another statement of intent under Michael Carrick as they beat Premier League leaders Arsenal 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium.
Matheus Cunha's superb goal in the 87th minute gifted United their first win on the red side of north London since 2017. Carrick's men fell behind when Lisandro Martinez's diverted the ball into his own net.
Bryan Mbeumo capitalised on an error from Martin Zubimendi to level before Patrick Dorgu put United ahead. The home side thought they had rescued a point when Mikel Merino poked home from close range.
However, Cunha finished off great team play with a curling effort past David Raya. The win lifts United into the top four, above Chelsea and Liverpool after 23 games.
