Avid football fans have been counting down the days until August 15 with it signifying the start of the Premier League season for 2025 and 2026.
The next nine months will see England's finest 20 football teams fight it out to win the championship and prove themselves the best of the bunch. Both Manchester City and Manchester United are set to take part in the Premier League with the team's previously securing multiple victories in years past.
City previously had a five year winning streak, only to be beaten out by Liverpool in last year's competition. Meanwhile, United hasn't lifted the cup since the 2012/13 tournament with fans eagerly awaiting a return to form.

Avid football fans will likely be wondering where they need to go to watch this latest season of sport. Thankfully, the Premier League keeps things nice and simple with a vast majority of live matches set to be broadcast on Sky Sports.
What's more, Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle just in time for the Premier League action to kick off. Instead of paying £43 per month, sports fans can get all the action and more for £35 instead.
Not only does this get viewers access to all 215 Premier League matches, but it also includes all the other sport broadcast by Sky. That includes Formula 1 and Cricket too.
Sky Sports discounted Premier League and EFL package

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, saving members £192 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.
Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 more.
It's possible to get Sky Sports as part of rival packages too, though. For £54.99 per month, Virgin Media is offering 512Mbps broadband plus Sky Sports and a bunch of other channels thrown in too.
EE also offers Sky Sports as part of some of its package deals. The Big Sport 4K package bundles both Sky Sports and TNT Sports under one roof for £48, although this must be purchased alongside a broadband package too.
