ARSENAL 1-0 CHELSEA (4-2 AGG): Full Blues player ratings from the Emirates Stadium after Liam Rosenior's side crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the semi-final stage
Liam Rosenior's first trophy as Chelsea head coach will have to wait after his side crashed out of the Carabao Cup at the semi-final stage to Arsenal.
The Gunners will play one of Manchester City or Newcastle United in next month's final at Wembley after 1-0 win in the second leg and a 4-2 win on aggregate. Arsenal almost seemed surprised by Rosenior's shape in the first-half and it led to a rather dull opening 45 minutes in north London.
Rosenior altered the shape of his XI in the second half but not to much avail. Chelsea were unable to break down a strong Arsenal defence and were unable to create too many chances. Wesley Fofana flicked it wide after being found via an Enzo Fernandez corner on 82 minutes but that was about as close as the away side came on the night.
When Chelsea were pushing for a goal at the end, Arsenal caught them on the counter-attack and former Blues forward Kai Havertz rounded Robert Sanchez to win it for the Gunners on the night. Below, Bobby Vincent rates the Chelsea players out of 10 based on their performance this evening:

Robert Sanchez
Sanchez made a good save on 18 minutes to deny Piero Hincapie's outside-of-the-box strike. Not too much to do bar the goal but not sure he can be blamed for that. 6.
Malo Gusto
Crucial sliding block on 34 minutes to deny Gabriel Martinelli, who managed to run in behind the Chelsea defence. Threatened in overlapping positions without the end product. Booked for diving. 5.
Wesley Fofana
The Frenchman was playing between a centre-back and right-back with a three-defender system for Chelsea. It seems to really suit him with his pace helping him mop up if Gusto was beaten down the right. 6.
Trevoh Chalobah
Chalobah made a couple of crucial headers inside his own box. He dealt with the threat of Viktor Gyokeres well. 6.
Jorrel Hato
Hato did a solid job on the left-hand side of a back three. Made a couple of good blocks to win the ball back for the Blues in north London. Off on the hour-mark. 6.
Marc Cucurella
Cucurella had a few one-on-ones with former Chelsea teammate Noni Madueke. Won the first one. And the second. Really strong defensive display. Great block on 77 minutes to deny what looked a certain goal for Gabriel Magalhaes. 8.
Andrey Santos
Santos made a couple of impressive interceptions in the first-half. Passed it well in there. Subbed in the second-half. 6.
Moises Caicedo
In a first-half of very little creativity, Caicedo produced a pass that threatened to break Arsenal down. Unfortunately, Cucurella could not quite get the ball down under his control. One of Chelsea's better players. 7.
Enzo Fernandez
Fernandez wasn't able to get on the ball too often in the first-half, and it was a similar picture in the second-half. Shot from distance multiple times but they were wayward. 5.
Joao Pedro
The Brazilian has been in brilliant form recently and Chelsea were hoping he could bring that into this evening's tie. He held the ball up well in the first-half without getting any real opportunities in front of goal. 5.
Liam Delap
Scuffs half a chance wide inside the first 10 minutes. Looked to drift wide when he could - an unexpected tactical change from Rosenior. Subbed on 61 minutes after an ineffective display. 4.
Estevao Willian (on for Hato 61')
Great to see him back. Went to the left-hand side but bar a couple of bright moments, the Brazilian wasn't able to impact the game too much. 6.
Cole Palmer (on for Delap 61')
On with half an hour of normal time remaining to try and rescue the tie for Chelsea. The Blues, though, were not able to get their talisman on the ball too much. 5.
Alejandro Garnacho (on for Santos 75')
Not enough time to make a real impact on the tie. N/A.
