Chelsea could welcome three new faces to Stamford Bridge this week. The Blues will be expected to reinvest their earnings from the Club World Cup after storming past Paris Saint-Germain at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday night.
The competition had a prize pot of £740m ($1bn) to give out to the 32 competing clubs, with £389m ($525m) set aside for participation and £351m ($475m) set aside for performance. Chelsea were awarded £21.3m just for turning up, while banking a further £62.7m for winning the tournament.
The Club World Cup has proved to be a lucrative spectacle, with the west Londoners adding £84m to Enzo Maresca's war chest. So, with that being said, football.london has looked at three players Chelsea could sign this week.

Mike Maignan
Robert Sanchez was brilliant in the Club World Cup final, but that doesn't mean Chelsea should suddenly halt their search for a new goalkeeper. While the 27-year-old shot-stopper cost the Blues a result on more than one occasion throughout the season, he also won his fair share of points.
Ultimately, Sanchez has a mistake in him, so Chelsea should bring in strong competition to iron out those creases in his game. Last month, football.london understood that the west Londoners were willing to submit a £13m bid for Mike Maignan, but AC Milan wanted in excess of £20m.
Fortunately for Chelsea, the Italian giants could be inclined to reconsider the offer. The 29-year-old goalkeeper has recently entered the final year of his contract at the San Siro so, from January, the Blues will be eligible to open pre-contract talks over a free transfer in 2026.
If Maignan doesn't sign a new deal, the Rossoneri will be forced to make a tough decision. In the next couple of weeks, Milan must consider whether they'd rather risk losing the France international for free at the end of the season, or cut their losses and cash in.
Neither Chelsea nor the Italian giants will suddenly concede hard-fought ground in negotiations. But, the west Londoners have a few players that they need to offload, who could be included in a potential swap deal.
Morgan Rogers
If Arsenal sign Noni Madueke, Chelsea should use the proceeds to fund a bid for Morgan Rogers. The Aston Villa star would be a significant upgrade on the 23-year-old winger, who looks set to swap Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Rogers, who would be joining a growing contingent of former Manchester City players, would add another string to Maresca's bow. Not only could he feature on either flank, he would also provide cover for Cole Palmer in the middle.
According to the MailOnline last month, Chelsea were interested in Rogers. The report claimed that the Blues' interest was unrelated to their pursuit of Jamie Gittens, who was eventually signed from Borussia Dortmund.
Chelsea appear to have since taken a step back in the race for the 22-year-old maestro, but the sale of Madueke could breathe new life into a potential move.
Jorrel Hato
Jorrel Hato would provide Chelsea with some much-needed cover for Marc Cucurella, who's currently the only senior option at left-back. The 19-year-old defender, who made his 100th appearance for Ajax in March, played at left-back for much of the season despite having starred at centre-half in previous years.
football.london understands that Hato is on Chelsea's radar, along with a few other defenders. There have been tentative enquiries about the Netherlands international from Stamford Bridge, with the Blues contacting the Dutch giants about a potential move.
It's understood that Chelsea view Hato's versatility as a massive green flag, and it's a key reason why they could explore a potential deal down the line. If the experienced teenager was to come in, the west Londoners probably have to offload Benoit Badiashile.
