Mikel Arteta faces the media after his Arsenal side were beaten with the final kick of the game at Villa Park courtesy of Emi Bunedia's strike following a goal-mouth scramble.

Matty Cash found the back of the net after some wasted Arsenal chances following some uncharacteristically shaky Gunners defending in a back line missing several big names.

Leandro Trossard, who came on from the bench at half-time, provided an immediate impact and scored following a rebound from Bukayo Saka’s shot.

Arsenal had to face a series of Villa chances while their own chances were hard to come by. In the end, their resolve was beaten in a heart-breaking way.
