Mikel Arteta faced the media ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium in the Champions League. The chance to make it three wins from three in the competition and test themselves against a tough opponent.
It will be the first time the sides have met since Arsene Wenger’s final season and when Diego Simeone eliminated the Gunners in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League. Mikel Arteta has never met with Simeone in a competitive sense and the Argentine has been a manager once mooted as a potential Arsenal manager in the past.
