Mikel Arteta faced the media after his Arsenal side dropped points to Manchester City in a damaging result in the Premier League title race.

Erling Haaland struck early for the visitors following a quick turnover of play and a loose pass from Riccardo Calafiori. Despite opportunities through Noni Madueke and William Saliba, the Gunners went into the break a goal down.

Following Arteta's changes at the break, Arsenal went in search of goals. However, while they probed, they failed to create anything of real note until a long ball from Eberechi Eze found Gabriel Martinelli, whose chip saved Arteta’s side a point.
