Mikel Arteta press conference LIVE: Arsenal boss on Mansfield, Dowman, two injury blows

Mikel Arteta faced the media after Arsenal’s victory over Mansfield Town in the FA Cup.

There was some concern as Leandro Trossard left the field before half-time with some sort of hip/leg issue. With Leverkusen in midweek and a title chase on, the hope will be it was just precautionary.

Noni Madueke gave the Gunners the lead after Arsenal had to weather a bit of a storm in the opening stages. However, a mistake from Mosquera gifted Will Evans the chance to strike, and he took it.

Arteta made a key change, bringing on Eberechi Eze, and the impact was immediate, firing a strike just inside the box into the top-right corner. It was far from pretty on a treacherous surface but Arteta’s side made it through, but not without issues as Riccardo Calafiori also had to be replaced.
