Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Noni Madueke following Arsenal's goalless draw to Sporting CP in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final. The 24-year-old winger was forced to come off during the second half of Wednesday night's tie after clashing knees with Pedro Gonçalves.

Speaking to the reporters at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night, Arteta said: "I don't know, it was something in his knee so we had to take him off."
