The transfer window may have closed, but that won’t stop the speculation, with plenty of names already being linked with summer moves.
Liverpool of course wrapped up the winter window with the signing of Jeremy Jacquet, with the Rennes defender set to complete his move to Anfield later this year. The Reds will need to do more business though, especially with Ibrahima Konate looking like he could be on his way out.
And the Frenchman might not be the only one leaving in the summer, with Mohamed Salah once again being linked with a move to Saudi Arabia as part of what could be a huge transfer saga.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)
Mohamed Salah is being eyed up as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr, according to The I Paper. Ronaldo’s future in Saudi Arabia is in serious doubt after he missed a second straight game on Friday amid his ongoing dispute.
Should the 41-year-old leave, Salah is said to be one of the options being lined up by Saudi Pro League officials to replace him, along with Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
The report claims that Saudi officials are no longer worried if Ronaldo leaves, as it will lead to the pursuits of Salah and Fernandes intensifying.

Liverpool.com says: Ronaldo’s tantrum does seem to be coming at an opportune time for the Saudi Pro League, considering Salah’s future looks as though it’s still up in the air.
It certainly wouldn’t be a major surprise if Liverpool decided to cash in on him this summer, and it may even be able to squeeze a bit more money out of the move if the Pro League is going to be looking for its next main attraction.
Sven Botman (Newcastle)
Liverpool remains interested in Newcastle defender Sven Botman, according to SportsBoom, and is considering launching an offer for him.
Botman has been linked with a move to Anfield previously, although reports in January suggested that the Reds had cooled their interest in the Dutchman.
This latest report though claims that Liverpool will monitor the 26-year-old’s situation at Newcastle before deciding whether to launch a bid, with the Reds potentially looking to nab another player from St James’ Park after signing Alexander Isak last summer.

Liverpool.com says: You only need to take one look at Botman’s injury record to know why this isn’t a move that Liverpool should be pursuing.
Concerns over his fitness were cited as the reason for the Reds’ interest waning last month, and even though he has since made a return to action, a lot more evidence would be needed to convince anyone that he wouldn’t face the same problems at Anfield.
Even with the signing of Jacquet, Liverpool will need to sign another defender, but Botman shouldn’t be the man it goes for.
