Mohamed Salah shoved an opponent to the ground in frustration but it ended up being a happy night for the Egyptian as he helped to secure World Cup qualification for his country.
With Egypt leading Djibouti 2-0, the referee awarded a free-kick, but before it was taken, Djibouti defender Aboubakar Abdi stood over the ball to shield it for some reason.
Liverpool star Salah, clearly unimpressed, promptly shoved Abdi to the ground with both hands. The Liverpool star avoided a booking, and ended the game with two goals in a 3-0 win.
The victory maintained Egypt's five-point lead at the top of the nation's World Cup qualifying group, and with just one game remaining, Egypt's place at next summer's tournament is guaranteed.
Ibrahim Adel opened the scoring for Egypt, while Salah scored the away team's second and third goals in the game.
Salah's first goal was a neat finish at the goalkeeper's near post, while the second was even more impressive, as he latched onto a lofted through ball and produced a first-time lob volley to round off the scoring.
The qualifier took place in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, as Djibouti's home stadium is not FIFA-approved.
