Mohamed Salah hinted at the togetherness of the Liverpool squad as he shared pictures of the players hanging out together ahead of tonight's game against Wolves.

The Liverpool squad goes into the Premier League clash off the back of four wins in its last five games in the top flight – a run that has seen the team move into the top five of the standings.

Remarkably, a win against Wolves by three or more goals would see Liverpool move up to third – temporarily, at least – with the two teams above them – Aston Villa and Manchester United – not in action until Wednesday.

On the eve of the game, Salah shared some pictures on Instagram, which featured a host of first-team stars relaxing at the Egyptian's family home.

Dominik Szoboszlai, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong and Ibrahima Konate were all snapped chilling out on a couch together.

Salah has a close friendship with both Szoboszlai and Kerkez, according to a report by The Times which was published last month.

The report states that Salah, Szoboszlai and Kerkez are usually the first three players to arrive at Liverpool's training groun, and that they are routinely seen together in the coffee bar at the AXA Training Center, while they also regularly eat at each others' houses.

Salah also recently praised Szoboszlai's on-field performances, saying after the FA Cup win over Brighton that Szoboszlai was "one of the best players in the world."

Meanwhile, Konate, Ekitike and Frimpong have all only spoken positively in public about Salah during their time at Liverpool.

Following Salah's ill-advised mixed zone chat with reporters at Elland Road in December, Konate described the 33-year-old as "a player that everyone loves."

Ekitike, meanwhile, said of Salah in October: "Mo is a really cool guy, he is really open with me and is really good to talk to.

"He is great to play with. I was watching him on TV when he was scoring the goals and stuff but he is a really great athlete. You can just improve yourself and learn from him. It is good to share the pitch with him and I hope we are going to score lots of goals and bring some wins to the team together.

"He is very cool. More cool than what I have seen on TV because sometimes you see a straight face and stuff, so I thought he was cold... someone who doesn't talk a lot. He is really open, like all of the guys here. They are really open and want me to adapt to the team."

Finally, in his signing interview last summer, Frimpong expressed his delight at the prospect of playing alongside a player of Salah's caliber.

"Playing with world-class players as a footballer is a great feeling," Frimpong said. "It’s a privilege, like, ‘I’m going to be next to Mo Salah!’"
