Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool this summer, with the Saudi Pro League a possible destination for the Egyptian star, amid Cristiano Ronaldo's uncertain situation at Al-Nassr

Tim Sherwood believes that Mohamed Salah could move to Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window and force Cristiano Ronaldo out of the league.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr just over three years ago, and has scored prolifically for the Riyadh-based club, netting 111 goals in 127 appearances.
However, team success has largely eluded him, with the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup the only trophy that he has won since moving to Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo recently embarked on a strike due to his dissatisfaction with Al-Nassr's January transfer activity, which has seen him miss Al-Nassr's last two games.

Salah was the subject a huge bid from Al-Ittihad in 2023, which was rejected by Liverpool, but another offer is expected this summer and the player could be more receptive to the move this time around.
"You’ve got to feel sorry for Cristiano Ronaldo, haven’t you?" Sherwood asked, sarcastically. "Who wouldn’t feel aggrieved that they’re not signing players how he wants them signed when he’s on £500k a day? He’s got every right to throw a tantrum, right?
"I mean, what is he talking about? If I was on £500k a day I’d be asking them what do you want me to do, and when do you want me to do it?

"Will Mohamed Salah moving out there mean the end of Ronaldo’s time in Saudi Arabia? Absolutely but then again he’s always had his battles.
"It’s been Lionel Messi all down the years and we’ve been blessed to witness the era of watching football that had Ronaldo and Messi around. They’re both football gods and now we’ve got the Egyptian god as well, Mo Salah, who is fantastic and I’m pleased he’s still in the Premier League, but he won’t be here next season.
"He’ll be off in the summer and it probably will be to Saudi Arabia to fill up the till like everyone else and there will be no bigger star than Salah when he goes over there. I just hope this whole story isn’t how it has been portrayed for Ronaldo because it doesn’t look good for him, does it?"
