Mohamed Salah has seen his wealth surge significantly over the past year amid speculation about his future at Liverpool.

The Egyptian was on target for the Reds on Saturday during their FA Cup victory over Brighton, though questions remain over where he'll be playing next amid persistent transfer talk. Salah scored from the penalty spot as Liverpool cruised to a commanding 3-0 win in the fourth-round tie at Anfield on Saturday.

The forward now has seven goals in all competitions, and will be keen to add to that tally when Liverpool returns to Premier League action next weekend against Nottingham Forest.

As Salah once again underlined his value to Liverpool following his return from the Africa Cup of Nations, the 33-year-old has enjoyed a considerable boost to his finances over the past 12 months.

According to The Times, Salah's total assets climbed to £45 million ($61.3 million) for the financial year ending June 30, 2025.

This marks an increase of £6.2 million ($8.4 million) from the previous year, the report states.

The Liverpool striker's company, Salah UK Commercial Ltd, revealed the figures in its latest set of accounts.

Salah's income from his image and commercial rights is reportedly managed by the aforementioned company, although it's not thought to include his Liverpool salary.

In April of last year, Salah committed his future to Liverpool until summer 2027 by signing a two-year contract extension.

The January transfer window was awash with rumors that Salah might leave Liverpool before the deadline, with the Saudi Pro League often touted as a potential destination.

With 18 months left on his current Liverpool contract, speculation about Salah's future is increasingly centred on whispers of a possible departure this summer.

Following his goal against Brighton, Salah earned plaudits from Arne Slot, with the Liverpool head coach offering a prediction about the future.

"It is very nice to have him on the scoresheet again, but what I like the most is, he is scoring goals you can almost expect, but he also helps the team a lot defensively, and that is something very positive," Slot noted.

"What the team also needs and is much more capable of playing every three days at an intensity level, and that is where we struggled at the start of the season, and we see more and more the quality we have, so the future looks really bright, and the recent seven, eight, nine, and 10 games are showing that."
