Motherwell have received bids for Lennon Miller and his future will "probably intensify in the coming days", manager Jens Berthel Askou has revealed.

The teenage midfielder has been the subject of ongoing speculation in recent months, with Serie A clubs Udinese and Bologna linked with a move for him.

Fir Park boss Askou says there is a "high probability" the Scotland international - who has less than a year remaining on his deal - will move on this summer.

Miller featured in Motherwell's pre-season friendlies but missed the team's Premier Sports Cup group matches with a minor injury.

"There have been bids recently," Askou told Sky Sports prior to his side's league opener with Rangers on Saturday. "That's something the board is working with.

"It's going on in the background and it will probably intensify in the coming days. Who knows how long it's going to take.

"There's been a lot of speculation, rumours and interest for a long time. It's intensifying now.

"Obviously there's a high probability he will move this summer, but nothing is finalised yet. Concrete things are going on, which we expected.

"For now he's a Motherwell player and he's doing his best to get back to full training so we can maybe see him on the pitch again."
