Mykhailo Mudryk has not played for Chelsea since late 2024, and he has now revealed what he has been up to whilst serving a ban
Forgotten Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has posted a social media update of him training at a fellow English club's training ground.
The 25-year-old has not played for the Blues since November 2024 as he continues to serve a suspension from the FA after an 'adverse finding in a routine urine test'.
The prohibited substance found in his system was meldonium, which has been banned in sports since 2016 by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) as it allows athletes to increase endurance, speed up recovery, and enhance oxygen delivery to tissues during exercise.
Mudryk faces a ban up to four years but the exact punishment he may face is yet to be revealed.
In the meantime, he has been training away from Cobham with a private coach and he has recently uploaded a video to Instagram to his 1.8million followers of himself in action.
The short clip shows Mudryk on Uxbridge FC's 3G pitch receiving a pass on the edge of the box before moving past an exercise dummy. He then fires an effort into the far corner with his weaker left foot.
Aside from admitting he had not knowingly used a banned substance, Mudryk has been rarely active on social media but he did recently respond to a happy birthday post from Chelsea and also send a return hint to supporters.

On the latter, he said: "I just wanted to say thank you for your support. I see all your messages and truly appreciate them, so please don't give up on me as I [have] not give up on myself. Can't wait to see you soon."
Upon his arrival at Chelsea as the replacement for Enzo Maresca, Liam Rosenior was asked about Mudryk with the 41-year-old confirming he wanted to, but had not yet spoken to the Ukrainian.
He said in late January: "It’s definitely something that I want to do, but there are many things I want to do and haven’t been able to do.
“But, no, he’s a magnificent player. He’s had a really difficult time and when the moment is right for me and him and the club, I’ll definitely have a conversation with him.”
Rosenior also added: “The time is right when I speak with the board and the sporting directors and when it’s right that he’s in a place where I can have an impact, in a positive way, on his career.”
