Ross County have appointed former Dundee boss Tony Docherty as their new manager.
Docherty, 54, was dismissed by the Dens Park outfit at the end of last season following a 10th-placed finish in the Scottish Premiership.
He guided them to a top-six spot in the 2023-24 campaign and was nominated for both PFA Scotland manager of the year and the Scottish Football Writers' manager of the year.
Docherty worked as Derek McInnes' assistant at St Johnstone, Bristol City, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock before taking the top job at Dundee.
He is now tasked with guiding Ross County back to the top flight at the first time of asking following a Premiership play-off defeat by Livingston in May.
Previous manager Don Cowie left the Dingwall club after a draw and two defeats began the Championship season, before interim boss John Robertson guided them to a 2-2 draw at Dunfermline Athletic last time out.
"We are thrilled to welcome Tony Docherty to Ross County," chief executive Steven Ferguson said.
"He brings with him not only a wealth of experience and proven leadership but also a clear alignment with our club values and long-term vision.
"His commitment to embedding himself within our club and community gives us great confidence as we work together to secure our place back in the Scottish Premiership.
"We were hugely encouraged by the quality of applications we received during the process, and we would like to thank all those who expressed interest in leading our club.
"Today, however, marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter under Tony Docherty."
