Chelsea will face Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend with the Magpies being handed a fresh injury blow
Newcastle United have been dealt a fresh injury blow days before Chelsea will make the trip for their Premier League fixture.
The Blues will go to St James' Park this weekend as they look to claim all three points against Newcastle in the top flight.
Enzo Maresca's side have won their last two games, having recently beaten Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup quarter-final and defeated Everton 2-0 in their last Premier League match.
Newcastle have also been in Carabao Cup action this midweek, with their quarter-final clash against Fulham taking place on Wednesday evening.
In the second half, the Magpies were handed a blow as Tino Livramento was forced to leave the pitch with an injury.

It remains to be seen how serious the suspected injury to Livramento is, and if the full-back will need to spend any time on the sidelines.
Chelsea will face Newcastle in the Saturday lunchtime kick-off, meaning there is a quick turnaround for the Magpies before hosting the Blues in the Premier League this weekend.
Newcastle were also without Dan Burn, Jamaal Lascelles, Nick Pope, Sven Botman, Kieran Trippier and William Osula due to injury for their Carabao Cup quarter-final tie with Fulham on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea have several injuries of their own to deal with as they prepare to face Newcastle this weekend.
Estevao Willian, Romeo Lavia, Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Levi Colwill are all on the sidelines with injury, while Cole Palmer is continuing to have his minutes managed having recently returned to action following a groin injury.
Maresca has already confirmed that Estevao is the latest player to be added to the injury list, with the forward already ruled out of the clash against Newcastle this weekend.
"He [Estevao] had a small problem, a muscle problem," Maresca said. "He won't be available for Newcastle, and we'll see for the next one."
