Newcastle United Weigh £48M PSG Transfer Move That Impacts Juventus, Tottenham

Randal Kolo Muani’s future is still up in the air, even though it’s clear he won’t stay at PSG. Last season, he shined on loan at Juventus, racking up 10 goal contributions in 19 games across all competitions.

With the transfer window open and no deal yet between Juventus and PSG, things remain uncertain — and several Premier League clubs are watching closely.

Corriere dello Sport recently reported that Juventus put forward a €10 million loan offer for Kolo Muani, which includes a mandatory purchase clause if they qualify for the Champions League.

PSG, meanwhile, want a guaranteed fee between €40 million and €45 million. Chelsea, Newcastle, and especially Manchester United are all keeping an eye on the French forward as a potential target this summer.

On Friday, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Newcastle United have started negotiations for Kolo Muani, who has become a top target after their pursuit of Benjamin Sesko fell through. While exploring other options, the club sees Kolo Muani as a concrete option; he is currently under contract with PSG until 2028.

TEAMtalk recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur are checking if Kolo Muani is interested in making the move to the Premier League.

PSG are reportedly asking for at least €55 million (£48 million / $64 million) for the forward, with around half of that expected upfront.

Juventus, on the other hand, aren’t willing to meet those demands and want to start with an offer closer to €15 million (£13 million / $17 million), which has slowed things down and caused some frustration at PSG.

TEAMtalk also says the Ligue 1 champions are now open to talks with other clubs, and Spurs have been kept informed throughout.
