An experienced Tottenham Hotspur defender is one of the options being considered by a Ligue 1 side, and the player may be open to an exit.
The January window is not just expected to see incomings at Spurs, but potentially also a few outgoings.
According to reports, Tottenham have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace for the sale of Brennan Johnson, with the winger now set to decide on whether to move to Selhurst Park.
Spurs are trying to find a buyer for Yves Bissouma, while Italian outlets have claimed over recent weeks that Radu Dragusin could be allowed to return to Serie A.
It has now emerged that another Tottenham defender may also be on his way out of the club next month.

Tottenham defender Ben Davies targeted by French club
Tottenham’s longest-serving player, Ben Davies, is on the wishlist of a Ligue 1 side, according to a report in L’Equipe.
Davies has had injury issues this season and has only managed a total of 55 minutes of football under Thomas Frank.
The Wales international is now being targeted by Nice, who have an injury crisis at the back, and have identified the Spurs man as a potential option.
However, it is explained that a deal for the 32-year-old would not be easy for Nice to pull off due to his high salary and the fact that the left-back is looking for a long-term deal.
Davies is open to a January exit from Spurs
Spurs Web understands from sources close to the situation that Davies is prepared to exit Tottenham in the upcoming transfer window.
The former Swansea man is prepared to move abroad as he looks for regular football ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which Wales need to qualify for via the playoffs.
The Tottenham man’s current deal runs out next summer, and should he leave in January, it would bring an end to a career spanning 11 and a half years at the North London club.
