Nicolas Jackson to Man Utd transfer talks hand Chelsea dream swap deal

12 hours ago 65

Chelsea have already sold one not-for-sale player this summer transfer window and could move out another before the market closes.

Noni Madueke joining Arsenal has shown that every player at the club has a price; for the England international, that was £52million. Nicolas Jackson could be in a similar situation over the coming six weeks.

The Blues believe he is potentially a £100million striker, but have just spent almost the same amount on signing Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. Sources refuse to describe the Senegal international as untouchable and football.london understands they would sell Jackson should the right offer materialise.

Manchester United and Milan have an interest in the striker, with the BBC's Nizaar Kinsella now reporting that the former have held talks with his representative, Ali Barat. Chelsea and Man United are no strangers to doing business.

They struck a deal for Jadon Sancho on last summer's transfer deadline day and could conceivably trade players again 12 months on. Christopher Nkunku is another forward previously linked with Man United, while the Blues also have a long-standing interest in Alejandro Garnacho.

football.london says:Intriguingly, the Reds seemingly value the Argentina international close enough to the amount Chelsea want for Jackson to make a potential swap deal have some appeal. Garnacho wanted out at United, so they presumably would have to bolster their side of the deal with an additional fee. However, it may be their best chance of affording the quality of striker they seek this summer.

Disasi blow

Saudi Pro League club NEOM are said to have ended their interest in Axel Disasi. The journalist Ben Jacobs claims that after exploring a move, they now have other targets.

football.london says:Disasi needs to move on this summer. Selling to a Saudi Pro League club would be the best chance for Chelsea to recoup some of their initial outlay on the defender.
