Everything you need to know about Chelsea and Aston Villa injury news before their Premier League meeting

Cole Palmer fitness update: Head coach Enzo Maresca confirmed that after a steady build-up of minutes in recent games, Cole Palmer is now physically ready for a 90-minute shift.
Double injury return: Both Liam Delap and Estevao have recovered from their respective issues and are confirmed as available for selection this Saturday. The former has been out since the Bournemouth match with a shoulder injury, while the latter picked up a muscular issue.
Dario Essugo latest: Dario Essugo is back in training after undergoing surgery a few months ago. However, his match fitness remains a question mark, and it is currently unclear if he will make the matchday squad.
Romeo Lavia absence: Romeo Lavia remains unavailable for selection, due to injury. The midfielder is still out with a quad issue, which will take a little longer to recover from.
Other long-term absentees: Levi Colwill is currently sidelined with an ACL problem and is not expected back anytime soon. Mykhailo Mudryk remains out after an anti-doping charge.
Aston Villa’s defensive concerns: Pau Torres' availability is uncertain, after he picked up a back issue. Meanwhile his defensive teammate Tyrone Mings is definitely out with a thigh injury.
Ross Barkley concern: Ross Barkley's return to Chelsea won't be happening on the pitch, after picking up an injury. He is expected to be out of action for several months, leaving a gap in Unai Emery’s squad depth.
Further absences for Villa: Evand Guessand is away on international duty for AFCON. Meanwhile Harvey Elliott’s participation is uncertain following a recent illness - though he has rarely featured for the team this season.
