Fans are already suggesting Oasis could play a series of European dates including the Etihad Stadium in 2026

Oasis are currently on the UK and Ireland leg of their world tour, spanning cities including Cardiff, Manchester and London. This week they're due to play two more dates at Wembley before heading to Edinburgh and Dublin.
The Oasis Live '25 tour was announced last August, two days before the 30th anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe. It was the biggest concert launch ever seen in the UK and Ireland.
As part of the reunion, they'll also be playing dates this year in North and South America, Australia and Asia before heading back to London for two final dates in September.
The tour may only have just got underway but during the current run of Wembley shows, the Oasis fan forums have come abuzz amid widespread sharing of graphics purporting to be of future tour dates.
A graphic that's been shared on Facebook and Reddit appears to show on Oasis European tour for 2026 - and some fans are demanding that it happens.

The graphic lists 21 tour dates across the UK and Europe including Milan, Madrid, Frankfurt, Budapest, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Paris.
Here in the UK, it suggests shows at St James Park in Newcastle and Hampden Park in Glasgow.
Perhaps of greater significance though is the suggestion that dates are scheduled for both the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and Knebworth in Stevenage.
2026 marks exactly thirty years since Oasis played Manchester's former ground at Maine Road, and Knebworth.
Manchester City fans since birth, Noel and Liam Gallagher headlined two shows at the football club’s ground of Maine Road on the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April.

40,000 people headed to each show and they were supported by Manic Street Preachers and Ocean Colour Scene. Britpop band Cast were also due to play but couldn't as the drummer broke his arm.
In August that year, Oasis then played what would become two shows that would go down in history at Knebworth.
These two nights saw the band perform to a total of 250,000 people, marking a high point in the Britpop era.
Given that the current Oasis Live '25 tour marks 30 years since the release of their debut album Definitely Maybe, you can see why fans would be getting excited about the potential for a European 2026 outing.

The person who shared the graphic to Reddit wrote "Saw this on Facebook probably not real but still interesting", while others analysed whether the dates would work.
One wrote: "That looks too condensed. And it only took three shows for me to find a double booking - Bad Bunny playing Riyadh Metropolitano on June 10 2026."
Echoing this another added: "Also San Siro has another concert the next day. Budapest has Metallica the day before. Not enough time to setup. Would be doable indoors, but not for stadiums."
A third pondered: "Will be interesting to see if they actually continue after live 2025. But this is more a fantasy."

Others, were more hopeful, with one person writing further in the comments: "I can no longer dismiss like I once did after everything that has happened lol."
Another wrote: "Choosing to believe this because it would give me a reason to survive till 2026."
And another suggested: "The leak last summer with the North America dates in a spreadsheet table ended up being real so I don't automatically doubt these things anymore!
"But these dates don't add up- if a 2026 tour happens I imagine it'll be weekends and maybe a Wednesday.

"Quietly hoping for August 2026 dates at Knebworth...would be incredible to have a gig on the 30th anniversary!"
Picking up on the potential Etihad dates, someone suggested they wouldn't "downgrade" from Heaton Park, however another explained that the band allegedly wanted to play Etihad during the Live '25 tour but ongoing construction meant it was not possible.
The Etihad Stadium expansion project, including the new North Stand, is expected to be completed in phases, with the North Stand itself opening during the 2025/26 football season.
The hotel, workspace, and public realm works, including City Square, are scheduled to open in late 2026. The overall project is a £300 million investment into East Manchester and is creating 2,600 jobs.
The Manchester Evening News has approached The Etihad and Oasis Live '25 concert promoters SJM for comment.
