Richarlison rarely escapes criticism when things go wrong at Tottenham Hotspur, but he always gives his all for the club to which he remains loyal.

Every time the transfer window reopens, there are news outlets making up stories about Richarlison, which turn out to be untrue.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been linked with moves to Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Everton in recent windows, yet there seems to be a lack of substance in these rumours.

Richarlison called out a ‘fake’ story linking him to Newcastle in the summer of 2024, and a year ago, the Brazilian rubbished a report claiming he wanted a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Richarlison calls out another fake Tottenham exit rumour

In the most recent chapter of the Richarlison transfer saga, ESPN Brasil has claimed the striker wants to leave Spurs in the summer.

However, Richarlison has once again struck back against these made-up stories by delivering a cold and irritated response on his Instagram.

The 28-year-old left a comment under the post claiming he wanted a move, which bluntly said: “Who said that? F*** off.”    

Spurs supporters should applaud Richarlison for his loyalty

Richarlison might not always have a good game, but he is the club’s top scorer in the Premier League this season. On top of this, he is one of only a few players who always appear to give 100 per cent, regardless of the circumstances.

The Brazil international has not always been leading the line at Tottenham, and patience has been required. It would have been far easier for him to take the money and fly off to Saudi Arabia. 

However, Richarlison has stayed true to Spurs and earned his way into the starting lineup on a weekly basis. Instead of demanding his sale at every possible moment, perhaps Tottenham supporters should take a moment to show some respect to a player who is giving his all for the club.

Spurs fans should be hoping and praying that his latest injury is not a bad one. Tottenham always look better with Richarlison to call on, whether it be in the starting XI or off the bench.
