Hello and welcome to our coverage of Pep Guardiola's press conference ahead of the Premier League trip to Brentford on Sunday.
City return to domestic action having drawn 2-2 with Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday night. Erling Haaland's first half brace looked to be enough to earn a second successive win in Europe but the Blues were twice pegged back with Monaco's second equaliser coming late on when Eric Dier scored from the spot after a contentious VAR review awarded the home side a penalty.
While City and Guardiola will have been disappointed to see three points turn to one, the result did extend their unbeaten run to six and if they can make it seven and earn a victory at Brentford, it would represent a positive few weeks heading into the October international break.
Guardiola will provide an update on the team news and injuries today.
