City's title hopes were boosted in midweek as Arsenal dropped points at bottom of the league Wolves. Should City beat Newcastle this weekend, they will be two points behind the Gunners before they face Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. The title race is likely to be discussed this afternoon.

Guardiola will provide updates on City's injury issues heading into this game. Haaland was pictured training this week having missed the Salford win so should be available. The City boss also hinted Savinho and Doku could be back this weekend so we should receive a further update on their fitness.
