‘Please’ – Ramon Vega makes a plea to Tottenham’s owners after defeat to Crystal Palace

Ramon Vega has sent a message to the Lewis family as Tottenham went a step closer to relegation disaster on Thursday.

The prospect of being involved in a relegation battle is unthinkable for a club of Tottenham’s resources and ambitions.

Yet, not only do the Lilywhites find themselves in a battle for Premier League survival, but they are actually emerging as possible favourites to go down.

While their relegation rivals, West Ham and Nottingham Forest, have been picking up points semi-regularly, the North Londoners are still waiting for their first win of 2026.

Ramon Vega tells Tottenham owners to sell up and leave

The Tottenham fan base is understandably in meltdown as the prospect of relegation for the first time in nearly 50 years looms.

Ramon Vega has pointed the finger at the club’s owners, telling them that they have done enough damage and that it is time for them to leave.

The former Spurs defender wrote on X: “Lewis family, please sell now! Enough damage has been done over the years!!

West Ham fans taunted Spurs on Wednesday

The worry for the Lilywhites is that the Hammers look much more likely to pick up points at the moment than they do.

In fact, just days after Tottenham turned in a shambolic performance away at Fulham, West Ham managed to emerge with all three points from West London, closing the gap on Spurs to just one point.

The Hammers fans at Craven Cottage sang “We’re coming for you, Tottenham Hotspur”, which suggests that they are confident of pulling off a great escape, and the same certainly cannot be said about Spurs fans at the moment.
