Over the past ten years, PSG has consistently targeted players from FC Barcelona. Stars like Neymar Jr. and Ousmane Dembélé are just a few who have made the move from Catalonia to Paris.
With Luis Enrique leading the Parisians and having an intimate understanding of Barcelona, scouting talent from the Spanish club could continue as long as he’s in charge. The newest Barcelona player to make the switch is teenage forward Dro Fernández.
According to L’Equipe, Fernández has signed for PSG on a deal until 2030 after the reigning UEFA Champions League winners triggered the €6M release clause in his contract.
Moreover, Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that Enrique and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi convinced Fernández to make the move to the capital club and he’ll undergo a medical soon.

Amid this news that PSG are taking another Barcelona player, Spanish journalist Alfredo Martinez didn’t hold back his criticism of the player.

“Before Dro, we’ve already seen many cases of players who chose other clubs in haste,” Martinez wrote on X (h/t Le10Sport). “Many disappointments. If Dro decides to leave, he will miss out on the development he could have had at Barcelona, just like Pedri, Xavi, and Iniesta, who found success later than he would have.”
