According to L’ÉQUIPE (h/t Le10Sport), PSG have added Fernández to their shortlist for next summer. The Argentine international, Chelsea’s most expensive signing at €121 million three years ago, has a contract running until 2032 and has reportedly struggled with the departure of Enzo Maresca, whom Rosenior replaced.

The move could prove controversial. Fernandez’s reputation in France has taken a hit—not only for his celebrations after Argentina beat France in the 2022 World Cup, but also following racist chants aimed at players of African descent after Argentina won the 2024 Copa America.
