Liverpool could be eyeing a PSG standout amid Mohamed Salah’s uncertain future at Anfield. The Liverpool forward cast real uncertainty over his future last Saturday night.

Furthermore, he then admitted that his relationship with manager Arne Slot had deteriorated, and suggested that Saturday’s meeting with Brighton and Hove Albion might be his final outing for the club.

After those remarks, Liverpool pulled the Egyptian from the group scheduled to travel to Milan on Monday, and he did not make the trip for Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Inter.

Liverpool Ready to Pursue Bradley Barcola

CaughtOffside reported Thursday that Liverpool have begun early work on possible replacements for Mohamed Salah, and Bradley Barcola is among the players on their radar.

Nonetheless, the outlet noted that PSG would prefer to retain Barcola and may even consider offering him a new contract, despite his current deal running through 2028. Despite that stance, the move is still considered a realistic possibility for Liverpool.

Barcola has yet to secure a regular starting role under Luis Enrique due to the depth in PSG’s attack, which could make a change of scenery appealing.

“Liverpool have already begun background work on replacing Salah,” one well-placed figure in the industry told me. “A player they really like, and have been following closely for some time, is Bradley Barcola.”

Moreover, the report states that Barcola would be “open” to considering his options, which could create an opportunity for Liverpool.
