PSG Predicted to Have Aston Villa Youngster on Transfer Radar

Over the last few transfer windows, PSG have added young talent to their center-back position. William Pacho, Lucas Beraldo, and Illia Zabarnyi have all arrived to be the next generation of defenders for the capital club.

Marquinhos’ time is slowly ending and Presnel Kimpembe has already left the club. Moreover, Lucas Hernandez has dealt with injuries and his in the latter stages of his prime years just like Marquinhos.

So, what player could the Parisians target in the upcoming transfer windows to keep injecting younger legs to the center-back role? Well, there’s one potential player that the Parisians should have on their radar.

Could PSG Pursue a Premier League Player?

In his latest Ensemble PSG column, PSG expert Robin Bairner revealed one name that could make sense to pursue next summer.

“There’s scope to sign a young prospect in a Lucas Beraldo-style signing,” Bairner wrote. “Yasin Ozcan of Aston Villa (on loan at Anderlecht) is one to watch, particularly with the Birmingham club tight with regard to FFP restrictions in the Premier League.

It will be interesting to see what the plan will be for the Parisians as they usher out of the Marquinhos and Kimpember era and make way for young center-backs to continue this impressive run under manager Luis Enrique.
