PSG don’t seem ready to make any deals as the January transfer window approaches, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t keeping an eye on potential targets.
With plenty of resources at their disposal, the club could be planning for a bigger move in the summer rather than acting immediately. Since Luis Campos and Luis Enrique arrived, PSG have leaned heavily on young French talent in their transfer strategy.
One name catching their attention is LOSC Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi, though it appears unlikely the teenager will head to Paris during the winter window.
Man Utd Ready to Make Move for Ayyoub Bouaddi

Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas reports that Manchester United may target two centre-midfielders in 2026, given the current state of their squad. The club has reportedly added Bouaddi and Christos Mouzakitis from Olympiacos to their shortlist.
Moreover, this news comes after it was reported that PSG are interested in the player. ESPN’s Julien Laurens contributed to a December 2025 piece titled “Transfer window preview: What do Europe’s big clubs need?” in which he highlighted Bouaddi as a top target for Enrique, who has long admired the young midfielder.

“There is one name at the top of the PSG shortlist and that’s Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi,” Laurens wrote. “The 18-year-old defensive midfielder is an incredible talent who made his debut at the age of 16. He is a PSG fan, Luis Enrique loves him and he would be the perfect replacement for Fabian Ruiz, who is out of contract in 2027.”
PSG isn’t the only club keeping an eye on Bouaddi. Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester United are also reportedly tracking him, according to a Footmercato report from this month.
The 18-year-old recently signed a contract extension, but Lille could part with him for a fee around €60 million. President Olivier Letang is said to have already held talks with several clubs, and interest in Bouaddi is expected to grow even more over the next two transfer windows.
