Raith Rovers sack Robson after poor run

Raith Rovers have sacked manager Barry Robson after four defeats from their past six Scottish Championship games.

Assistant manager Andy Kirk has also been relieved of his duties as the Kirkcaldy club sit in sixth place with 18 points from 14 games.

Former Aberdeen boss Robson, 47, moved to Stark's Park at the tail end of 2024, signing a two-and-a-half year contract.

A brief statement from Rovers makes no mention of an interim replacement for Robson, with the club's next match at home to bottom-of-the-table Airdrieonians on Saturday.
