Rangers closing in on Miovski deal

Rangers are closing in on the signing of former Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski.

Talks have been ongoing with the player and his club, Girona, as Rangers look to strengthen their forward line.

The Ibrox side are hopeful of concluding a deal before Sunday's Old Firm derby against Celtic, following the departure of Moroccan forward Hamza Igamane to Lille.

Miovski, who scored 44 goals in 98 appearances for Aberdeen, would become Rangers' 11th new arrival under head coach Russell Martin.

The 26-year-old North Macedonia striker spent a single season in Spain, scoring four goals in 23 appearances for Girona.
