Reading vs Tottenham LIVE: How to watch, goal and score updates in Thomas Frank's first game

Tottenham Hotspur's first match under Thomas Frank has arrived with a trip to Reading to kick off the pre-season programme for the 2025/26 campaign.

The Dane was appointed early last month as the club's new head coach to replace Ange Postecoglou following Spurs' Europa League win and after facing the media for the first time at a press conference on Friday afternoon at Hotspur Way, Frank will now step into the dugout for his debut as the Spurs head coach.

The 51-year-old has already made it clear that he will pick two separate XIs of players for each half in the game against the League One side, as is often the norm for the first couple of summer friendly matches in pre-season.

He stated that Son Heung-min will captain the side in one of the halves and Cristian Romero will do so in the other. There is also likely to be a chance for the Spurs fans to see new signings Mohammed Kudus and Kota Takai in action for the first time in those new Tottenham shirts since their moves from West Ham United and Kawasaki Frontale respectively.
