Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of Manchester City's Champions League tie with Real Madrid. The Blues travel to the Spanish capital on the back of three straight Premier League victories which have cut Arsenal's lead at the top of the table to two points.
Pep Guardiola will be keen to make similar progress in Europe having seen a much-changed side lose 2-0 at home to Bayer Leverkusen in their last continental outing. That result saw City drop out of the top eight but they will move back into the leading positions should they beat Madrid.
City have three games left in the League Phase and two wins will likely see them straight through into the knockout phase. The Blues face Bodo Glimt and Galatasaray in January in their final two fixtures.
