Real Madrid Willing to Sell Chelsea, PSG-Linked Star for €150M

Vinícius Jr.’s future at Real Madrid could be uncertain, and PSG might benefit from it. Following the 2025-26 season, the Brazilian will have just one year remaining on his contract, which runs through June 2027.

This puts pressure on the Spanish club to offer a new deal; otherwise, they may have to consider selling him next summer rather than risk losing him for free.

Additionally, with Kylian Mbappé joining last year, Real Madrid could be tempted to cash in on Vinícius Jr. while his value is high and reinvest that money in building a squad around the former PSG forward.

El Chiringuito reports that Real Madrid have put a floor of €150 million on Vinícius, following a complete deadlock in contract extension negotiations.

Moreover, relations between Vinícius and manager Xabi Alonso show little sign of improvement. As a result, Los Blancos anticipate that clubs in Saudi Arabia will be closely watching the situation.

This news comes after Transfer insider Graeme Bailey told The Chelsea Chronicle that Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly would love to land a “generational player” like Vinicius, even if it goes against the club’s targeting of younger, developing talents. Bailey added that Boehly is especially drawn to the “commercial gains” the Real Madrid star could bring to Stamford Bridge.

Bailey still believes the most likely outcome is Vinicius signing a new deal with Real Madrid, though he’s reportedly “not happy” and feels “unsettled” in Spain.

Meanwhile, SPORT reports that Vinicius would be open to playing for Luis Enrique at PSG. It will be interesting to see how this entire saga transpires, but Mbappé could see the Neymar Jr. story repeat itself in Spain.
