Rob Edwards humorously suggested that Wolves' 2-1 victory at Molineux might have left Liverpool "angry" ahead of their FA Cup clash on Friday evening.
The Premier League champions suffered their ninth loss of the season, conceding for the seventh time in stoppage time, due to Andre Trindade's deflected shot after Mohamed Salah had earlier equalised Rodrigo Gomes's opening goal.
The two sides will face off again in the Black Country later this week for a spot in the quarter-finals of the Cup, and Wolves boss Edwards thinks Arne Slot's squad may be looking to even the score after another dramatic defeat dented their Champions League qualification hopes.

"At nil-nil at half time, that's where we wanted to be we, we'd have loved to have been winning, but it was where we wanted, we have been growing generally in the second half of games anyway, put more pressure on them and they open up and that was how it went."
"We've probably made them quite angry now! But no, we just have to take it one a time and we did say before the Aston Villa game (on Friday night) that we want to try and win every game, we know how hard it is to do that.
"You see how good Liverpool are and we had to ride our luck at times. Things went for us tonight. But we will try and pick a team that will win a Cup game and make it exciting. Does it have to be one or the other? We want to win both.
"It's Liverpool, you've seen how good they are, they were champions last year, you've got to savour these moments and yeah, I lost myself a bit there [celebrating late on], a 93rd-minute winner, we have to relish these moments."

Edwards continued: "It's lovely, long may the celebrations carry on. It's the groin this time! It's Liverpool Football Club and any time you beat them, you've got to savour the moment.
"Never mind the position we are in at the moment. They're a fantastic football club with an incredible manager and loads of excellent players. We're trying to turn things around."
Arne Slot did reserve praise for the Premier League strugglers, saying: "Credit to Wolves as well. They fight from first second until the end and got maybe a bit of a luck they deserve when you look at how much they put in throughout the whole game.
"They made it really hard for us and compact. In the first half, I showed the players at half-time it was possible to play a bit faster from side to side then the few times we did in the first half the wingers at least had some time to take the full-back on.
"That happened better in the second half more and that's why we came closer. We had more crosses, penetrated more in the box but then it's also about finishing off those moments and picking the right player in front of goal."
