Rodrygo has hinted that he's happy to stay at Real Madrid beyond this summer, amid interest from Arsenal.
The Brazil winger has been one of the players linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in the current transfer window. Arsenal would still like to add at least one more attacking player to their squad this summer, with Crystal Palace's Eberechi Eze their priority target.
They could still, however, move for another left winger should either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli leave before the deadline comes. Rodrygo, along with Newcastle United's Anthony Gordon, are among those on the list of possible replacements.
A deal for either player would be very expensive. Some reports claim that Real Madrid have put an asking price of €90million (£78.4m) on Rodrygo.
After taking part in the FIFA Club World Cup with Real Madrid over the summer, the winger has been on holiday. Monday has seen him return to training with the Spanish club as they prepare for the new season.
Ahead of his return, Rodrygo took to social media to send a message. Sharing various pictures from his holiday on his Instagram page, he wrote: "Holidays completed. Clear mind and many missions ahead."
He included a pair of eyes emoji in that Instagram post.
The 24-year-old has posted a further update on to his Instagram story. He's posted a picture of his view, which includes scenery and a swimming pool, and has tagged his location as Madrid - while also adding a white heart emoji.
The emoji could, potentially, be taken as a hint as to how much he likes it in the city, and at the club. If Arsenal therefore make a move for him - this summer - they will also have to persuade the player to make the move to north London from his current location.
