Real Madrid superstar Rodrygo appears to have dropped a hint that he is ready to win his place back with the La Liga outfit after a difficult Club World Cup campaign.
The 24-year-old started just one of Real Madrid's six games in the United States before they were knocked out by eventual runners-up Paris Saint-Germain.
As a result of a lack of game time, the Brazil international continues to be linked with a move from Madrid, with several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Liverpool, touted with a move for the forward.
However, Rodrygo seems to have dropped a hint that he is intent on winning his place back in Madrid's starting XI as he uploaded to social media on Sunday night.
Posting to Instagram, the Brazilian uploaded a series of pictures from a gym in Miami, Florida, despite he and the rest of his Real Madrid teammates being handed an extended break after their elimination from the Club World Cup last week.
Since joining Real Madrid from Brazilian side Santos in 2019, Rodrygo has made 270 appearances for the club, winning three La Liga titles and two Champions League.
But since Madrid signed Kylian Mbappe from PSG last summer, Rodrygo has found regular game time hard to come by, and last season managed just 22 La Liga starts for Carlo Ancelotti's side.
When asked why Rodrygo didn't feature during last week's Club World Cup semi-final defeat to PSG, Madrid's new manager Xabi Alonso said: "The fact that he didn't play again is a game-by-game decision. The way things were going, we needed another player.
"There haven't been any decisions about the future throughout this entire championship; we haven't rotated much. We'll start in a different context."
Arsenal, meanwhile, are close to bolstering their ranks with the signings of Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres from Chelsea and Sporting CP, respectively.
