Chelsea were dealt a major injury blow during their clash against Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

Chelsea could be without as many as seven players when they take on Wolves this weekend. The Blues will host the Black Country outfit at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night as Enzo Maresca's side look to return to winning ways.

The west London outfit were held to a 2-2 draw by Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night. Estevao Willian broke the deadlock inside the opening quarter of an hour, but the Azerbaijani outfit nicked two goals before the break.

Alejandro Garnacho levelled proceedings at the start of the second half, but Chelsea couldn't find a third. Maresca's side isn't expected to return to the UK until Thursday morning, so the Blues will be up against it to fit in their preparartions at Cobham before they face Wolves.

While the visitors have had a week to recharge their batteries, they're still without a head coach, having sacked Vitor Pereira. So, with that being said, football.london has rounded up all the latest Chelsea injury news.

Chelsea continue their UEFA Champions League campaign as they face Qarabag on November 4. Fans can watch the game on the TNT Sports Prime Video channel.

Romeo Lavia

Lavia was forced to come off in the opening minutes of Chelsea's clash against Qarabag. The midfielder appeared to suffer a muscle injury.

What Maresca has said: "We feel a shame for him, especially for him. "He's not able to be fit for a long, long period. We will see now. It's too early to understand what kind of injury. I think it's his quad."

Expected return date: Unknown.

Pedro Neto

Neto appeared to suffer a calf injury during Chelsea's win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend. The winger didn't travel to Baku as a precaution.

What Maresca has said: "Not a problem, just a small issue. We will try to protect him. He is not involved in tomorrow's game."

Expected return date: Wolves (H) – Premier League – Saturday, November 8.

Cole Palmer

Palmer has been nursing a groin injury this season. The midfielder raced back from the treatment room in September, only to aggravate the problem a week later.

What Maresca has said: "We hope so [he returns for Barcelona clash], but with Cole, we try to schedule the beginning and then we need to review that. We go day by day with Cole.

"He is not taking any sessions with the team. I would love to have Cole here tomorrow and for every game. Unfortunately, he's injured, but for sure, we want him back very soon."

Expected return date: Barcelona (H) – Champions League – Tuesday, November 25.

Benoit Badiashile

Badiashile suffered a muscle injury during Chelsea's dramatic win over Liverpool last month. The defender had missed the start of the season due to a similar issue.

What Maresca has said: "We have Benoit Badiashile that can probably be available after the international break, and for us, that is huge news."

Expected return date: Burnley (A) – Premier League – Saturday, November 22.

Dario Essugo

Essugo suffered a thigh injury while on international duty with the Portugal Under-21s in September. The midfielder was forced to undergo surgery.

What Maresca has said: "No, I think he's still out for a while, probably, I don't know if the new year, I don't know, January, December, January. Not sure yet, but we are already in November."

Expected return date: January.

Levi Colwill

Colwill ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament shortly after reporting for pre-season training. The defender underwent surgery in early August, and he's currently enrolled on a rehabilitation programme.

Expected return date: End of May.
