Team news from Stamford Bridge as Liam Rosenior names his Chelsea line-up for this evening's FA Cup quarter-final against League One strugglers Port Vale

Liam Rosenior has made three changes for Chelsea's FA Cup quarter-final tie with Port Vale this evening, with Cole Palmer captaining the Blues in Enzo Fernandez and Reece James' absence.

Fernandez is not in the squad for this evening's cup tie after Rosenior confirmed on Friday morning the Argentine would miss the Blues' next two matches following his comments while on international duty. James, meanwhile, continues his recovery from a hamstring injury, with Palmer wearing the captain's armband.

Robert Sanchez starts in goal, with Filip Jorgensen still recovering from a groin issue. Malo Gusto is at right-back, with Jorrel Hato on the other side and Wesley Fofana and Tosin Adarabioyo in the middle of the defence.

Andrey Santos partners Romeo Lavia in the middle for the Blues, with Palmer in the No.10 just in front of the duo. Estevao Willian starts on the right-hand side, with Pedro Neto on the left and Joao Pedro leading the line.

Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is on Chelsea's bench, hoping to make his debut this evening. This is the 17-year-old's third time in a matchday squad for the Blues' first team this season, but he is yet to make his debut for the senior side.

Liam Delap, rather surprisingly, has been named on the bench, with Rosenior picking something close to his strongest line-up.

Chelsea XI: Sanchez; Gusto, Fofana, Tosin, Hato; Santos, Lavia; Estevao, Palmer, Neto; Joao Pedro

Chelsea subs: Sharman-Lowe, Acheampong, Sarr, Cucurella, Essugo, Caicedo, Garnacho, Kavuma-McQueen, Delap
